Like many parents, I turned to online groups, sitter apps, and endless online searches. Within hours, I had dozens of responses, but none were filtered or tailored to what my family actually needed. I was left to sort through them one by one. The process felt overwhelming, frustrating, and incredibly time-consuming.

Zuzo is a communications platform, which means that it connects parents looking for nannies & nannies looking for families in an easy-to-use platform. Each user will set up their profile and what they are looking for and will be algorithmically matched to provide curated matches. From there, users that match will be placed in an in-app chat to continue to get to know each other and ensure the match is the right fit.

Zuzo is a free-to-use platform, for parents and nannies, and does not collect money from users. Why make the childcare search any more difficult than it already is?! We do make money from ads, and affiliate links, but do not charge users anything to use.

A nanny is a professional who provides ongoing care for children in a family's home. A babysitter provides infrequent or sporadic care. An au pair is integrated into family life as a temporary family member and has to go through other channels for proper employment. Lots of services exist for au pairs and sitters, but Zuzo is the only one that caters to the nanny search.

Zuzo has a focus on nannies - a professional who provides ongoing care for children in a family's home. No other service is dedicated to the nanny search alone. Although there are other services & apps that cater to sitters, Zuzo provides curated matches that can facilitate a long-term relationship between parents & nannies.

Similar to a dating app - each user will need to go through their preferred methods to ensure that the other is a qualified match for their search. Users should take all reasonable and sensible precautions and steps to assess matched users. Parents and nannies are solely responsible for their interactions & communication with each other, both online and offline.
